On December 18, 2024, the galleries on rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth and rue Béranger join forces for a joint nocturne until 9pm.

This second edition reaffirms our shared passion for collaboration, welcoming diverse audiences, and celebrating the Haut Marais as a vibrant hub for contemporary creation. It's an initiative that invites you to explore the exhibitions in a different way, and to grasp the artistic diversity of the Haut Marais!

Mélodies Ancestrales
Hyacinthe Ouattara's monograph
Now available at our gallery, 'Mélodies Ancestrales' explores the artistic journey of Hyacinthe Ouattara, featuring a wide range of his works across various mediums—from drawings, painting and installations. It also includes insightful texts by Cindy Olohou and Ronan Grossiat, along with an interview conducted by Flavien Louh for the exhibition "Habiter le Monde qui nous Habite," held at Fondation H from January to April 2022.

Hyacinthe Ouattara at the 15th Havana Biennal: "Shared Horizons"

We’re thrilled to announce that Hyacinthe Ouattara has been invited to participate in the 15th Havana Biennale, which, under the theme of “Shared Horizons,” will take place from November 15th, 2024, to February 28th, 2025. For this occasion, the artist will present an in-situ installation titled Une traversée de l’existence.

"Une traversée de l’existence" is an immersive installation project that centers around materiality and the sensory experience as its core inquiry while exploring the poetic potential of each element. It delves into an “archaeology of time” through fabrics that carry life, history, and imprints of the past, embodying an emotional weight like the skin of the world. Within the heart of the artwork are suspended objects like sieves, thread, fabric remnants, stitched paper, balls of yarn, and knotted fabric on small-format crates. The suspended elements in my approach reflect on the tension between balance and imbalance, the fragility of our humanity, and the rhythms of the world. The fabric is a living material, a vessel for the soul and memory."
