Adler Guerrier

Adler Guerrier was born in Port Au Prince in Haiti; he lives and works in Miami, Florida. Adler Guerrier graduated in Fine Arts from the New World School at Florida University of the Arts. Adler Guerrier is best known for his work in photography, drawing and printing, mediums in which he explores both the poetic and political dimensions of the island.

To mention Adler Guerrier's most recent exhibitions: “Relational Undercurrents”: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago, a traveling exhibition, curated by Dr. Tatiana Flores, investigating artistic practices linked to the Caribbean Basin. Dust Specks on the Sea Contemporary Sculpture from the French Caribbean & Haiti at the Hunter East Harlem Gallery in New York, curated by Katie Hood Morgan and Arden Sherman; The World's Game: Fútbol and Contemporary Art at the Perez Art Museum in Miami, curated by Franklin Sirmans in collaboration with Jennifer Inacio; and his most recent solo exhibition: Conditions and Forms for black Longevity, curated by Diana Nawi, presented at the Californian African American Museum in Los Angeles.
