Valentina Canseco's glass creatures at 193 Gallery
With her, color seems to speak. Originally from Brazil and Chile, Valentina Canseco holds degrees in plastic arts from various institutions in France, Belgium and Colombia, and has been exhibited worldwide. Her multi-faceted art touches on everything : painting, sculpture, installation and, more recently, glass, which she sublimates in her first works presented at 193 Gallery. Inspired by the living and organic forms, Valentina Canseco unveils her fleshy sculptures, where the body is diluted into elusive chimeras, as well as several abstract paintings playing with light.
