The monographic exhibition "NEGATALENT," dedicated to the contemporary artist Jean-Marc Hunt, takes place from June 28 to August 18, 2024, at the Fondation Clément. This exhibition highlights the necessary pioneering spirit and the role of the artist in developing a recognized contemporary oeuvre.
Creating art from the French Antilles requires a clear vision, which the artist forges with investment and determination through a long and constructive process. With this significant event, the Fondation Clément focuses on showcasing twenty years of activist work by the contemporary Franco-Caribbean artist, who now has an international reach. This major exhibition presents a unique collection of around sixty original works throughout the building dedicated to contemporary art, covering the recurring themes of his work: "Jardin créole" "Récits cosmogoniques" and "Negropolitan Museum".
